DESCRIPTION
Wireless Transmitter-linked Function
w/ Entry and Start System:
When an electronic key transmitter sub-assembly switch is pushed: 1) the door control receiver receives the wireless door lock signal; 2) the door control receiver sends a signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) through the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly); 3) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor assemblies; and 4) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.
w/o Entry and Start System:
When a key switch is pushed: 1) a door control receiver receives the wireless door lock signal; 2) the door control receiver sends a signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU); 3) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor assembly ; and 4) the power window regulator motor assembly are activated.
Key-linked Function
When the driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) is turned and held: 1) the door lock motor receives the signal; 2) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the signal to the power window regulator motor assemblies; and 3) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.

Note
These functions are set through customize settings, as they are off by default.
The power window control system uses the LIN communication system and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication functions by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.
Check that power window system customize setting "Door Key P/W Up", "Door Key P/W Down", "P/W Up W/Transmit" and "P/W Down W/Transmit" are set to "ON" before performing the following procedure.
If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.*1

CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM)
Check that the wireless door lock/unlock function operates normally.
