  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

      Remove the front seat cushion protector from the vertical adjusting handle LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Detach the 2 hooks to disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw.

    3. B005BBA

      Detach the 2 clips, claw and 3 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Using moulding remover A, detach the claw.

      Detach the claw and 3 guides to remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH

      B008IZM Fastening Tape

      Detach the fastening tape to disconnect the front seat side airbag wire harness.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamp to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

        Disconnect the connector.

      4. Detach the 3 clamps to disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      Detach the 3 hooks.

      Detach the 9 hooks.

      *1 Protective Tape

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    6. Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad LH.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. B0059CH

      Remove the 14 hog rings.

      Slide the seat cover wire.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both seat cover wires.

      Remove the 4 hog rings to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover LH from the separate type front seat cushion pad LH.

  11. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      B008IZM Fastening Tape

      Detach the 2 pieces of fastening tape and pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 3 seatback cover brackets.

    2. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH

      Pass the 3 seatback cover brackets through the 3 holes of the separate type front seatback pad LH.

      Remove the 14 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover LH from the separate type front seatback pad LH.

  15. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  16. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT

      Remove the seatback felt from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK

      Detach the 2 claws.

      Remove the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the 2 hooks to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  23. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. Detach the clip to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 springs to remove the seat track adjusting handle.

  30. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
