AIR CONDITIONING PANEL(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (except Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (except Sedan)
DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (except Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (except Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (except Sedan)
w/ Radio Receiver:
REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)

Disengage the 2 claws and 5 clips.
Disconnect the connector to remove the air conditioning control assembly.

PRECAUTION (for Sedan)
Note:After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Sedan)
for LHD with Entry and Start System:
Note:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
for Manual Transaxle:
REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for Sedan)
REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for Sedan)
REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

Disengage the 2 claws and 5 clips.
Disconnect the connector to remove the air conditioning control assembly.
