  1. OUTLINE


    1. Combination Meter Assembly


      1. An analog type combination meter assembly, an analog type combination meter assembly with dot display type multi-information display or an Optitron type combination meter assembly with TFT color display multi-information display is provided depending on the models.

      2. A multi-information display on which various kinds of information are displayed is integrated.

      3. The combination meter assembly has a built-in meter ECU and multi-buzzer.

  2. MAIN FEATURES


    1. Opening/Ending Ceremony (Models with Optitron Type Combination Meter Assembly)


      1. An opening ceremony which allows for anticipation of a pleasant drive is used. The opening ceremony operates as follows:


        1. When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the needles of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge illuminate.

        2. Then, the gauges and panels of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge and the multi-information display illuminate.

      2. An ending ceremony which allows for anticipation of a pleasant drive is used. The ending ceremony operates as follows:


        1. When the ignition switch is turned off, the needles of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge fade out.

        2. Then, the panels of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge and the multi-information display fade out.

    2. Multi-information Display (Models with Optitron Type Combination Meter Assembly)


      1. The multi-information display is located at the center of the combination meter assembly.

      2. The multi-information display shows the following information.

        Item Outline
        Shift Position*1 The current shift position is displayed.
        Outside Temperature

        • The outside temperature is displayed.

        • When the outside temperature drops below 3°C, an ice warning light illuminates to warn the driver to drive with caution due to icy road conditions. After the ice warning light flashes 10 times, the light stays on. When the temperature reaches 5°C, the light goes off.
        Drive Mode

        The currently selected drive mode is displayed:


        • ECO Mode

        • POWER Mode

        • iMT Mode*2
        Indicator/Warning Light

        When the display conditions are met, the following indicator lights illuminate.


        • Cruise Control Indicator Light*3

        • Cruise SET Indicator Light*3

        • Lane Departure Alert Indicator*4
        Information

        • The following information can be displayed on the multi-information display by switching the tabs.


          • Drive Information

          • Navigation Information*5

          • Audio Information*6, *7

          • Driving Support Information*4

          • Warning Message

          • Settings

        • The tab can be switched using the right/left switch in the steering pad switch assembly.
        Vehicle Power Source State

        • The vehicle power source state is displayed.

        • The following indicator light is displayed on the multi-information display.


          • Key Warning Light
        ODO/TRIP Meter

        • The odometer, trip meter A, trip meter B or light control rheostat is displayed.

        • The item shown can be switched by pressing the TRIP switch.
        Light Control Rheostat The luminance of the meter panel, audio head unit and some of the switches which are on the instrument panel can be changed.

        *7: When audio information is being displayed, the audio system can be operated using the steering pad switch assembly.

    3. Multi-information Display (Models with Analog Type Combination Meter Assembly with Dot Display Type Multi-information Display)


      1. The multi-information display is located at the center of the combination meter assembly.

      2. The multi-information display shows the following information.

        • The odometer, trip meter A or trip meter B is displayed.

        • The item shown can be switched by pressing the TRIP switch.
        Light Control Rheostat The luminance of the meter panel can be changed.

    1. Ignition Switch Expressions


      1. The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.
