OIL PRESSURE SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   1. Remove the adhesive from the threads of the engine oil pressure switch assembly and the bolt hole of the No. 1 oil cooler bracket.

   2. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

      Adhesive

      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

      Note:

      Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

   3. Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

      15 N*m

      153 kgf*cm

      11 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

   4. Connect the engine oil pressure switch connector.
