ROOF HEADLINING(for Hatchback) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for Standard Roof)

   1. Align the positioning tape on the front part of the No. 1 roof wire with the front tab of the roof headlining.

      *E	w/ No. 1 Room Light	*F	w/ EC Mirror
      *G	w/ Rain Sensor	*H	w/ Pre-crash Safety System
      *I	w/ Pre-Crash Safety City Heater	-	-
      *a	Marking	*b	Front Tab
      	Positioning Tape		Adhesive Tape

   2. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings on the roof headlining.

   3. Install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining with the adhesive tape.

      Note:

      • Apply the tape securely in place.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for Glass Roof)

   1. Align the positioning tape on the front part of the No. 1 roof wire with the front tab of the roof headlining.

      *E	w/ Pre-crash Safety System	*F	w/ Pre-Crash Safety City Heater

      	Positioning Tape		Adhesive Tape

   2. Engage each clamp.

   3. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings on the roof headlining.

   4. Install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining with the adhesive tape.

      Note:

      • Apply the tape securely in place.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING PAD (for Standard Roof)

   1.

      Marking

      w/ Vanity Light:

      1. Remove the release paper from a new No. 2 roof headlining pad.

         Tip:

         After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Align the No. 2 roof headlining pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it as shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (for Standard Roof)

   1.

      Marking

      w/ Vanity Light:

      1. Remove the release paper from a new roof headlining pad.

         Tip:

         After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Align the roof headlining pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL NO. 5 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Standard Roof)

   1.

      Marking

      Align the No. 5 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Standard Roof)

   1. Align the 4 No. 1 roof silencer pads with the markings on the roof headlining and install them using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL NO. 7 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Standard Roof)

   1.

      Marking

      Align the No. 7 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

9. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Vanity Light)

   1. 

      Engage the guide and claw to install the vanity light assembly.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

   2. Connect the connector.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Push Switch Type)

    1. 

       Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 1 room light assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.
