FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM

  1. CONSTRUCTION

    1. Depending on the model, a lightweight hollow type front stabilizer has been adopted. The highly-efficient stabilizer layout ensures high roll resistance, handling stability and vehicle stability when braking during cornering and or performing emergency maneuvers.

    2. To ensure that both normal suspension models and sport suspension models have suitable roll rigidity, front stabilizer bars with different diameters are used.

    3. The front stabilizer link assembly is connected via ball joints to the shock absorber. This enhances responsiveness during initial roll, ensuring controllability, vehicle stability and ride comfort.

    4. Models with Inter-ring

      1. Stabilizer bar bushes which have an inter-ring have been adopted. The deflection of the bush is suppressed by the inter-ring, therefore enhancing the response of the stabilizer bar, achieving both controllability and stability. Furthermore, by providing a resin base and utilizing a cylinder shape for the rubber part of the stabilizer bar bush, the spring constant in the compression and rebound direction has been equalized, achieving an excellent roll feeling.

    5. Models without Inter-ring

      1. The inside of the front stabilizer bar bushes are fluorine coated. This reduces friction between the stabilizer bar and bushes, and ensures a supple ride. Furthermore, by providing a resin base and utilizing a cylinder shape for the rubber part of the stabilizer bar bush, the spring constant in the compression and rebound direction has been equalized, achieving an excellent roll feeling.
