TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    1. Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 engine under cover.

  3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the clip, nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever and No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.

      Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 2 transmission control cable bracket.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts and No. 2 transmission control cable bracket from the body.

      Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 3 transmission control cable bracket.

    6. Remove the 2 nuts and No. 3 transmission control cable bracket from the body.

      Roll up the floor carpet of the front seat LH and remove the 2 bolts and transmission control cable assembly.
