Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.
Remove the terminal cap.
Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from the terminal B.
Disconnect the generator wire and generator connector.
Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 wire harness brackets.
