LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Back Door Inside Handle)

      Remove the screw and the back door inside handle assembly.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL (w/ Back Door Inside Handle Bezel)

    1. w/o Illumination:


      1. Remove the 2 screws and the back door inside handle bezel.

    2. w/ Illumination:


      1. Remove the 2 screws and the back door inside handle bezel.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Board)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 16 clips and the back door trim board.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Molded Door Trim)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using a clip remover, remove the 18 clips and the back door trim board.

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH


    1. w/ Smart Entry and Start System:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. w/o Smart Entry and Start System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 5 nuts.

    4. Detach the 2 clips and remove the back door outside garnish.

    5. B007RY9

      Remove the grommet.

  6. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 license plate lights from the back door outside garnish in the order shown in the illustration.
