  1. INITIALIZATION

    Note:

    When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system(s) after the cable is reconnected.

  2. IDLE LEARNING AND ELECTRONIC THROTTLE LEARNING

    1. Perform the idle learning after the ECM has been replaced.

    2. Perform the electronic throttle learning and idle learning after the throttle body with motor assembly has been cleaned, installed or replaced.

  3. WHEN USING GTS

    CAUTION:

    Observe the following items for safety reasons:

    • Before using the GTS, read the instruction manual.

    • Prevent the GTS cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever or steering wheel when driving with the GTS connected to the vehicle.

    • When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the GTS, 2 persons are required. One is for driving the vehicle, and the other operates the GTS.
