REAR LEAF SPRING(for 2WD) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR SPRING LEAF BUSH (except Single Cab)

   

   
   

   1. Using SST and a press, press in a new rear spring leaf bush.

      SST

      09631-12090

      09632-36010

2. INSTALL REAR SPRING SILENCER

   
   

   1. Install the 4 rear spring silencers to the leaf spring.

3. REASSEMBLE REAR SPRING ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Install the rear No. 1 spring spacer to the leaf spring.

   2. for TMT Made:

      Install the 2 rear No. 3 spring spacers to the leaf spring.

   3. for TSAM Made:

      Install the 3 rear No. 3 spring spacers to the leaf spring.

   4. Secure the springs with a vise and install the center bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

   5. 

      Using a vise, caulk the 4 clips.

   6. Check that there is no gap between the spring clip and spring.

4. INSTALL REAR LOWER SPRING SHACKLE BUSH

   
   

   1. Install 2 new rear lower spring shackle bushes to the rear spring assembly LH.

5. INSTALL REAR SPRING PIN BUSH (for Single Cab)

   
   

   1. Install 2 new rear spring pin bushes to the rear spring assembly LH.
