VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1442, C1443

DTC Code DTC Name
C1442 Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor
C1443 Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1442 When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from acceleration sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. Acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)
C1443 When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from yaw rate sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information Click here.
