OUTLINE
The windshield wiper motor assembly and wiper link assembly are mounted in a modular frame, reducing wiper operation sound and reducing variations in the wiping range.
Diffuser type washer nozzle sub-assemblies are provided under the engine hood to ensure a good appearance.
A rain sensing function is provided for the front wiper system. This function controls the wiping timing in accordance with the amount of rain detected when the front wiper switch is in the AUTO position.
A warning message display function, which shows a warning message on the combination meter assembly when the washer fluid is low, is provided on some models.
A graphite coating is applied to the surface of the wiper rubber, reducing inversion noise and wiper flutter while the wipers are operating.
A headlight cleaner system is provided on some models to allow optimal lighting effectiveness to be maintained.
The front wiper control system has the following functions:
Function
---
Mist function
Front wiper intermittent interval adjustment function
Washer-linked wiper with drip-prevention function
Vehicle speed-sensing, adjustable interval function
Vehicle speed switching function
