SHIFT STROKE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SHIFT STROKE SENSOR

    1. Coat a new O-ring with MP grease and install it to the shift stroke sensor.

      Sensor Arm (Shift Stroke Sensor Side)

      Temporarily install the shift stroke sensor with the shift stroke sensor side and shift and select actuator assembly side sensor arms in the positions shown in the illustration.

    3. Turn the shift stroke sensor clockwise and install it with the 2 screws.

      1.3 N*m

      13 kgf*cm

      12 in.*lbf

    4. Connect the shift stroke sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When reconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized.
