FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Hatchback, Wagon) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the 2 rubber bands to disconnect the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  7. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws.

    2. w/o Lumbar Support:

      1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front seat cushion shield.

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to separate the front seat cushion shield.

      2. Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

      3. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. for Front Passenger Side:

        Disengage the claw to remove the connector.

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the front seat cushion heater assembly wire harness.

    3. B328581

      Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 13 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  13. SEPARATE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Disengage the wire harness guide.

    3. Disengage the claw to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the hook.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      for Standard Seat Type:

      1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    4. w/ Airbag Strap:

        Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Standard Seat Type)

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. B328593

      Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Sports Seat Type)

      Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  19. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  20. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tip:

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LEVER

      Remove the bolt and reclining control lever.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Lumbar Support)

    1. Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage each hook to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track rail cover LH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

    Tip:

    Perform the same procedure as for the front upper seat track rail cover LH.

  29. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

    Tip:

    Perform the same procedure as for the front upper seat track rail cover LH.

  30. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH

    Tip:

    Perform the same procedure as for the front upper seat track rail cover LH.

  31. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER LH

    1. Disengage 2 claws to remove the outer seat track cover LH.

  32. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH

    Perform the same procedure as for the outer seat track cover LH.
