CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Instrument Panel Under Cover)
for Hatchback, Wagon:
for Sedan:
REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)
DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE
Loosen the clip and disconnect the clutch reservoir tube from the clutch master cylinder assembly.
Tip:Use a container to collect the fluid.
DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE
Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch line.
Tip:Use a container to collect the fluid.
REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

Remove the clip from the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.
Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin and disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder assembly from the vehicle body.
Remove the clutch master cylinder bracket from the clutch master cylinder assembly.

REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

Push the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis upward and release it toward the left side of the vehicle.
Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder assembly from the vehicle body.

Remove the clutch master cylinder bracket from the clutch master cylinder assembly.
