EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR(w/o Glow Plug Controller) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	120 to 560 kΩ

      Tip:

      The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

2. INSPECT NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	120 to 560 kΩ

      Tip:

      The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.
