AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    1. A232741

      Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.

      Note:

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
