FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

| Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly | Light Control Switch | The light control switch outputs a light control signal and transmits it to the main body ECU. |
| Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU | The hybrid vehicle control ECU outputs a hybrid system states signal and transmits it to the main body ECU. | |
| Parking Brake Switch Assembly | Detects whether the parking brake is on or off and transmits a signal to the main body ECU. | |
| DRL Relay | Supplies power to the LEDs for daytime running lights. | |
SYSTEM CONTROL
The daytime running light system is enabled when the conditions given below are met:
| Condition | Power switch is on (IG). |
| Light control switch is in off or AUTO* position (when taillight is not being controlled by the automatic light control system). | |
| hybrid system is READY. | |
| Parking brake is off. |
