  1. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK)

    1. E283942

      Display the "Vehicle Signal Check Mode" screen.

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the parking brake operation.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the A39 parking brake switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H45 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
