PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Check the resistance.

        Component without harness connected

        (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-4 - A-5 Seat heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 4.93 to 5.07 kΩ
        B-1 - B-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.99 to 3.59 Ω
        A-2 - A-6 - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Check the resistance.

        (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly RH)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-4 - A-5 Seat heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 4.93 to 5.07 kΩ
        B-1 - B-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.99 to 3.59 Ω
        A-2 - A-6 - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.
