BLOWER UNIT DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    Make sure to perform initialization after replacing the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly. If initialization is not performed, the air conditioning unit assembly will not perform properly as the air conditioning amplifier assembly will not be able to recognize the position of the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET


    1. A01OBDY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the wiring harness clamp bracket.

  3. REMOVE AIR REFINER ELEMENT

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the air filter sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01O9UR

      Disengage the 4 guides to remove the air refiner element from the cover plate.

  4. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01OAE6

      Remove the 3 screws and blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

    2. When reusing the blower motor with fan sub-assembly:


      1. Remove the heater packing from the blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE


    1. A01OCHV

      Remove the drain cooler hose.

  6. REMOVE HEATER CASE PACKING


    1. A01OCRD

      Remove the heater case packing.

  7. REMOVE HEATER PROTECTOR


    1. A01OAXZ

      Remove the heater protector.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ODSU

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the upper blower case.

    3. A01OAHA

      Disengage the 3 claws to remove the plate.

    4. A01OD6P

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly.
