STARTER (for 2.2 kW Type Denso Made) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01E0N6E01

      A/T:

      Connect the ground cable and install the starter with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:
      68 N*m  { 693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Make sure to connect the ground cable with the nut as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01DXFNE01

      M/T:

      Install the starter and ground cable with the nut and bolt.

      Torque:
      68 N*m  { 693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Make sure to connect the ground cable with the nut as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the starter wire to terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the starter connector.

    5. for A340F A340E:

      Install transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.


      1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it to the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

      2. Install the oil filler tube with the 2 bolts.

        Torque:
        12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      3. Install the oil dipstick.

  2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

    A01E1IKE01

    1. Install the release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL


    1. Install the seal with the 5 clips.

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
