ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Install a new gasket to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

    2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the engine coolant temperature sensor to the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      19.6 N*m

      200 kgf*cm

      14 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  2. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

    Click here

  5. INSTALL BATTERY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
