  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

      Disengage the claws to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

      Disengage the claws to remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY


    1. B008KQV

      Remove the 3 screws <D> or 3 screws <M>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

    3. w/ Antenna Divider:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *a Clamp
      *b Guide

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

    2. Remove the 3 screws <D> or 3 screws <M>.

    3. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A001VQ7

      Remove the 3 screws <D> or 3 screws <M>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 3 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

    3. B008MFA

      w/ Ion Generator:


      1. Disconnect the rear air duct sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. B008KML

      Remove the 4 screws <D> or 4 screws <M>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. B008KTF

      Remove the 3 screws <D> or 3 screws <M>.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE ION GENERATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Ion Generator)

  10. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY



  11. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

      w/ Ion Generator:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

    2. A001WTW

      w/o Ion Generator:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

      Remove the screw <D> or screw <M>.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the No. 1 instrument panel pin.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 1 instrument panel cushion.
