FRONT WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER

Protective Tape
Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the windshield wiper arm cover.
Tip:Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Use the same procedure for both windshield wiper arm covers.

REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH

Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH.

REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly RH.

REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH

Detach the 2 claws and remove the double-sided tape.
Detach the 2 guides, and remove the front fender to cowl side seal LH.

REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH
Tip:Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 clips.
Detach the 5 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
Detach the 9 guides and pull out the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
Note:Be careful not to damage the windshield when removing the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

Motor Grommet
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the connector.
Detach the motor grommet and remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

Protective Tape
Using a screwdriver, separate the No. 1 rod from the wiper motor pivot as shown in the illustration.
Tip:Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove the 3 bolts.

Rotate the windshield wiper motor assembly in the direction of the arrows as shown in the illustration and remove the windshield wiper motor assembly from the link.
