  1. FUNCTION


    1. The fuel pump is controlled by the fuel pump control ECU. Fuel pump control has a fuel cut control function. Fuel cut control stops the fuel pump when any of the SRS airbags has deployed.


      1. When the ECM detects the airbag deployment signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU, the fuel pump control ECU will turn off the fuel pump assembly. After fuel cut control has been activated, turning the power switch from off to on (IG) cancels fuel cut control, and the engine can be restarted.
