THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.
Slide the clamp and disconnect the ventilation hose assembly from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
Disconnect the purge valve connector.
Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose and No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve.
Detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

Detach the 2 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly from the air cleaner case.

Lock the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner cap and hose from the throttle with motor body assembly.

REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly and No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the fuel hose clamp.

No. 1 Water By-pass Hose

No. 3 Water By-pass Hose
Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.
w/ EGR System:
Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the throttle with motor body assembly.
w/o EGR System:
Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the throttle with motor body assembly.

Remove the 4 bolts, fuel hose bracket and throttle with motor body assembly.

Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
