REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. E259579C01

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Combination Light Socket and Wire Sub-assembly LH)

      Disconnect the rear combination light assembly LH connector.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH and check that the lights come on.

      OK

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The stop light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (TL)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The taillight comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (TRN)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The turn signal light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      (Rear Combination Light Socket and Wire Sub-assembly RH)

      Disconnect the rear combination light assembly RH connector.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly RH and check that the lights come on.

      OK

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The stop light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (TL)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The taillight comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (TRN)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      The turn signal light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly RH.
