SEAT HEATER SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH LH


    1. A01E1ETE01

      Measure the resistance of the seat heater switch when the switch is operated.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (IG) - 4 (LH) ON Below 1 Ω
      3 (IG) - 4 (LH) OFF 10 kΩ or high

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    2. Check that the seat heater switch indicator light illuminates when the switch is operated.

      OK
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → 6 (E)

      		 ON Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.

    3. Check that the seat heater switch illuminates.

      OK
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

      		 Always Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.

  2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH RH


    1. A01E0J8E01

      Measure the resistance of the seat heater switch when the switch is operated.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (IG) - 4 (RH) ON Below 1 Ω
      3 (IG) - 4 (RH) OFF 10 kΩ or high

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    2. Check that the seat heater switch indicator light illuminates when the switch is operated.

      OK
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → 6 (E)

      		 ON Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.

    3. Check that the seat heater switch illuminates.

      OK
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

      		 Always Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.
