PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Disconnect the N12 and N11 navigation receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Clear the DTC Click here.

    3. Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

      OK
      DTC B15C3 is not output.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Disconnect the N12 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Clear the DTC Click here.

    3. Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

      OK
      DTC B15C3 is not output.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the N12 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T24*1 and/or T23*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH

      • *2: for LH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      N12-1 (FR+) - T24-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      N12-5 (FR-) - T24-2
      N12-1 (FR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the T24*1 and/or T23*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the S16*1 and/or S15*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

    2. Inspect the front No. 1 speaker assembly connector Click here.

  6. CHECK FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check that the malfunction disappears.

      Tech Tips


      • Connect all the speaker connectors to the speakers.

      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the N11 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the S18*1 and/or S17*2 rear speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH

      • *2: for LH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N11-3 (RR-) - S18-2

    1. Disconnect the rear speaker assembly connector.

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the N11 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the S20*1 and/or S19*2 rear speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH

      • *2: for LH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
