Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A004HQD

      Engage the 2 clamps to install the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

    2. A004HLZ

      Connect the connector.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  2. INSTALL REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB (w/ Side Marker Light)


    1. Install the side marker light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

    2. A004K5E

      Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the side marker light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install them as a unit.

  3. INSTALL REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. Install the rear turn signal light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

      Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install them as a unit.

  4. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET LH

      Install a new rear combination light gasket LH.

      Note


      • A004HCA

        Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear combination light gasket from the rear combination light lens and body LH.

      • Install the rear combination light gasket LH so that it is securely seated and there is no displacement.

      • Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.
