ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY (w/o Air Conditioning System)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pry out the generator pulley roller protection.

    2. A338050

      Using an 8 mm hexagon socket, remove the bolt and V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.

  3. REMOVE GENERATOR BRACKET (w/o Air Conditioning System)

      Remove the 4 bolts and generator bracket.

  4. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

      Using an 8 mm hexagon socket, remove the bolt and V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.

  5. REMOVE GENERATOR BRACKET (w/ Air Conditioning System)

      Remove the 2 bolts and generator bracket.

  6. REMOVE GENERATOR BRACKET (w/ Air Conditioning System)

      Remove the 4 bolts and generator bracket.
