Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
REMOVE CYLINDER BOOT
Using a screwdriver, pry out the set ring and boot.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Note
Be careful not to damage the brake piston and cylinder.
REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON
Prepare a wooden plate to hold the piston.
Place the wooden plate between the piston and cylinder.
Use compressed air to remove the piston from the cylinder.
CAUTION:
Do not place your fingers in front of the piston when using compressed air.
Note
Be careful not to spatter the brake fluid.
REMOVE PISTON SEAL
Using a screwdriver, pry out the seal from the cylinder.

Be careful not to damage the inner cylinder and cylinder groove.
REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP
REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG
Remove the bleeder plug from the cylinder.
