CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the cruise control main switch is turned ON, the cruise control indicator light illuminates in green.

For 1KD-FTV (for DPF) vehicles, the cruise control indicator light illuminates in yellow when a malfunction occurs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUSE (MET)


    1. Remove the MET fuse from the driver side junction block.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      MET fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - ECM, BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the E13*1, E30*2 or E6*3 ECM connector.


      • *1: for 1GR-FE

      • *2: for 1KD-FTV (for DPF)

      • *3: for 1KD-FTV (except DPF)

    2. Disconnect the C25 and C26 meter connector.

    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
