Tech Tips


  • On the SIGNAL CHECK screen, "OK" (blue) is displayed for items with a normal inspection result or input state.

  • On the SIGNAL CHECK screen, "CHK" (red) is displayed for items with an abnormal inspection result or input state.

  • Displayed items may differ depending on vehicle specifications.

  • When "!" mark is displayed on the multi-display assembly*1 or accessory meter assembly*2 after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH - PARKING ASSIST ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the J84 panoramic view monitor switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the J73 parking assist ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      J73-20 (BLSW) - J84-5 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      J84-17 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J73-20 (BLSW) or J84-5 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
