IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the ignition coil assembly or the spark plug.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

    1. Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench and 100 mm extension bar, install the 4 spark plugs.

      20 N*m

      204 kgf*cm

      15 ft.*lbf

      Tip:

      Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the spark plug.

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

    1. A205086C01

      *1

      Cylinder Head Cover

      *2

      Spark Plug Tube

      *3

      Plug Cap

      Install the 4 ignition coil assemblies with the 4 bolts.

      10 N*m

      102 kgf*cm

      7 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      When installing the ignition coil assembly, do not damage the plug cap with the cylinder head cover opening or the upper edge of the spark plug tube.

      Tip:

      Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the ignition coil assembly.

    2. Connect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER
