PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

  1. CHECK PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM SETTING

    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      PCS Indicator Light

      Operate the steering pad switch assembly to select PCS OFF on the multi-information display and check that the PCS indicator light illuminates.

      Tip:

      • If the power switch is turned off with the pre-crash safety system off, the pre-crash safety system will turn on when the power switch is turned on (IG) again.

      • The previous state of the pre-crash safety system can be retained when the customize setting "PCS Operation State Retention Setting" is set to "ON" using the GTS

  2. CHECK PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM SENSITIVITY SETTING

    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Change PCS Sensitivity and check that the warning timing adjustment display on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Mid" and "Near" accordingly.

      Tip:

      The default setting is "Mid".
