The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during rear seat outer belt assembly removal/installation are shown below.

Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
for 2AR-FE:
for A25A-FKS:
for 2GR-FKS:
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If an airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious injury.
DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type)
DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)
REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)
DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

Remove the bolt to disconnect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT SET
REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER
Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the other rear seat shoulder belt hole covers.
REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)
Fold the rear seatback assembly LH and rear seatback assembly RH forward.
Remove the 2 clips.
Disengage the 3 clips and 5 guides.
Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.
REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)
Disengage the 3 clips.
Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.
REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disengage the guide to remove the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.
