INSPECT CRANK POSITION SENSOR

1. Resistance inspection.

   
   

   1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Temperature Resistance at -10°C (14°F) to 50°C (122°F) 19 to 32 Ω at 50°C (122°F) to 100°C (212°F) 24 to 37 Ω

      Note

      "Cold" and "Hot" in the following sentence express the temperature of the sensor itself. "Cold" is from -10°C (14°F) to 50°C (122°F) and "Hot" is from 50°C (122°F) to 100°C (212°F).
