PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      A004RHYE03
      A004SVLE03
      Standard Resistance

      DE-2 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      DA-28 (LR) - DE-2 (GND) Hazard warning switch off Below 1 V
      Hazard warning switch on

      Alternates between 11 to 14 V and below 1 V

      (60 to 120 times per minute)
      DA-27 (LL) - DE-2 (GND) Hazard warning switch off Below 1 V
      Hazard warning switch on

      Alternates between 11 to 14 V and below 1 V

      (60 to 120 times per minute)
      DB-32 (+B) - DE-2 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      DS-11 (EL) - DE-2 (GND)

      Ignition switch ON

      Headlight dimmer switch (turn left) off

      		 9 V or higher

      Ignition switch ON

      Headlight dimmer switch (turn left) on

      		 Below 1 V
      DS-12 (ER) - DE-2 (GND)

      Ignition switch ON

      Headlight dimmer switch (turn right) off

      		 9 V or higher

      Ignition switch ON

      Headlight dimmer switch (turn right) on

      		 Below 1 V
      DS-17 (HAZ) - DE-2 (GND) Hazard warning switch off 9 V or higher
      Hazard warning switch on Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the turn signal flasher.
