GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the generator assembly with the 3 bolts.

      25 N*m

      255 kgf*cm

      18 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Be careful that the wire harness of the crankshaft position sensor does not get caught between the cylinder block and generator when installing the generator.

    2. Connect the connector to the generator assembly.

    3. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

    4. Install the terminal cap.

    5. Connect the wire harness to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      7.7 N*m

      79 kgf*cm

      68 in.*lbf

  2. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

    1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      13 N*m

      133 kgf*cm

      10 ft.*lbf

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

  4. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
