TAIL GATE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BODY TAIL GATE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LEK2C01
      B0069FO Install in this Direction

      Install the rear body tail gate assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      28 N*m  { 286 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

    2. Pass the wire harness through the vehicle body.

    3. Connect the connector and attach the claw.

  2. INSTALL TAIL GATE SEAL PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

      Attach the guide to install the tail gate seal plate RH.

  3. INSTALL TAIL GATE STAY ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both tail gate stay assemblies


    1. A01LBT9

      Install the tail gate stay assembly with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      27 N*m  { 275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }
