DESCRIPTION
If there is a short in a speaker circuit, the radio receiver assembly detects it and stops output to the speakers.
As a result, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio receiver assembly, telematics transceiver * or speakers.

Disconnect the G118 and/or G119*2 radio receiver assembly connectors.
Disconnect the K4*4 and/or J4*5 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.
Disconnect the M2*4 and/or L2*5 rear speaker assembly connector.*2
Disconnect the K7*4 and/or J7*5 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.*3
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.
Check that sound is emitted from the speaker normally.
Tech Tips
Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speaker assemblies that were disconnected.
When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
Perform the above inspection on both the LH and RH sides.

Disconnect the G118 and/or G119 radio receiver assembly connectors.
Disconnect the K4*3 and/or J4*4 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.
Disconnect the K7*3 and/or J7*4 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.*2
Disconnect the M2*3 and/or L2*4 rear speaker assembly connector.
Disconnect the G130 telematics transceiver connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
