IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the ignition coil assembly or spark plug (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

    1. A390283

      Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench and 100 mm extension bar, install the 4 spark plugs.

      20 N*m

      204 kgf*cm

      15 ft.*lbf

      Tip:

      Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the spark plug (Click here).

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

    1. A205086E04

      Install the 4 ignition coils with the 4 bolts.

      10 N*m

      102 kgf*cm

      7 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      When installing the ignition coil, do not damage the plug cap with the cylinder head cover opening or the upper edge of the spark plug tube.

      Tip:

      Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the ignition coil assembly (Click here).

      Connect the 4 ignition coil connectors.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER

    1. Install the cowl top ventilator louver (Click here).
