LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to the CAN through LIN ECUs with a gateway function that are also connected to the CAN.

    3. LIN is used for the power window system, roof sunshade system, entry and start system, double locking system and air conditioning system.

  2. MAJOR DIFFERENCE


    1. The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:


      1. The computer managing a power supply is changed to certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) from power management control ECU.

      2. The power management control ECU have been deleted.
