C1A4A Skid Control Buzzer Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the driving support ECU and a DTC is stored.

C1A4A While the ignition switch is ON, a skid control buzzer circuit malfunction signal is received from the skid control ECU for 1 second.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the skid control buzzer sounds.

  2. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)


    1. Replace the skid control ECU Click here.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the cruise control switch on.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.
