FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. A005C9J

      Engage the 2 hooks to install the seat track adjusting handle to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. A005CM2

      Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. A005EPB

      Connect the connector to install the No. 2 seat wire to the front seat wire.

    2. A005ALM

      Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 2 seat wire with front seat wire to the front seatback spring assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. for LHD:


      1. A005DSI

        Engage the 4 clamps.

    5. for RHD:


      1. A005D9I

        Engage the 2 clamps.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A005BL8

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)


    1. A005EMG

      Engage the clip.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. A005C4W

      Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Engage the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      *2 Hog Ring

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the front seatback spring assembly.

      Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.

      • Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.

      • Install the bracket securely.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

      *2 Hog Ring

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback spring assembly with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with pad with 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    6. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A005EW0

        Engage the guide and connect the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

    7. A005AWO

      Engage the claw and 4 clamps to connect the airbag wire harness.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 15 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    3. A005BK9

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion with pad to the front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. for 6 Way Seat Type:


      1. A005CBO

        Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    4. for 4 Way Seat Type:


      1. A005AC7

        Install the 2 clips.

    5. A005D9L

      Engage the 4 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness.

    7. A0059OA

      Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

    8. A0059QU

      Connect the rubber band.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A005CKR

      Engage the 5 claws to install the front seat inner cushion shield.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  18. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support)

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. w/ Lumbar Support:

        Engage the 5 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. A005CRZ

      Engage the clip and 6 claws to install the front seat cushion shield.

    3. Install the screw.

  20. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

  21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Engage the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.
