PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT DRIVE BELT

   
   

   1. Inspect the drive belt Click here.

2. INSPECT ENGINE OIL

   
   

   1. Inspect the engine oil Click here.

3. REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER

   
   

   1. Replace the engine oil and oil filter Click here.

4. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT

   
   

   1. Inspect the engine coolant Click here.

5. REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT

   
   

   1. Replace the engine coolant Click here.

6. REPLACE SPARK PLUGS

   
   

   1. Replace the spark plugs Click here.

7. REPLACE FUEL FILTER

   
   

   1. Replace the fuel filter Click here.

8. INSPECT BATTERY (except Europe)

   
   

   1. Check the battery Click here.

9. INSPECT AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT

   
   

   1. Remove the air cleaner filter element.

   2. Check that the air cleaner filter element is not excessively dirty. If the air cleaner filter element is excessively dirty, replace the air cleaner filter element.

   3. Clean the air cleaner filter element with compressed air.

   4. Reinstall the air cleaner filter element.

10. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPES AND MOUNTINGS

    
    

    1. Visually check the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.

11. INSPECT FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. Inspect the fuel tank cap gasket Click here.

12. INSPECT FUEL LINES, CONNECTIONS, FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BANDS

    
    

    1. Visually check the fuel lines and hoses for cracks, leakage, loose connections, or deformation.

    2. Check for tank band looseness or deformation.

13. INSPECT CHARCOAL CANISTER (except Korea)

    
    

    1. Check the charcoal canister Click here.
